Barnabas Bosisto (Bossi) - is an accomplished & award-winning Australian musician, multi-instrumentalist, educator, & founder of Bossi’s Guitar Studio, based in Adelaide. With over 15 years of performance experience & more than 8 years as a dedicated teacher, Barnabas has built a reputation as a versatile artist & a passionate mentor for aspiring musicians. He holds a degree in Jazz Guitar from the prestigious Elder Conservatorium of Music, where he honed his craft & developed a deep understanding of musicianship & performance.
As a performer - Barnabas brings a wealth of experience across diverse musical styles, including acoustic, blues, rock, jazz, cosmic funk, psychedelic & experimental music. He is an active member of six unique musical projects, contributing to both live shows & studio recordings. His portfolio includes numerous singles & two full-length studio albums, reflecting his commitment to artistic growth & excellence.
At Bossi’s Guitar Studio - Barnabas is dedicated to inspiring & mentoring the next generation of musicians. His teaching approach is personalised, focusing on each student’s individual goals while instilling the skills & confidence needed to grow as both musicians & performers. ‘Bossi & Company’ are a South Australian, Adelaide based Jazz, Funk & Covers band. They are all about having a good time playing a mix of classic jazz standards and contemporary grooves, all to get you ‘Swingin’ N’ Groovin’.
Lead and Directed by guitarist Bossi (Barnabas Bosisto), the band is formed with Jazz Graduates from Adelaide Elder Conservatorium Of Music, including Zed Crawford on Drums, Jack Crawford and Scott Armstrong on the Electric and Double Bass Emile Ryjoch on Saxophone and more.

THOMA AND THE HUMBUGS
Thoma and the Humbugs is a five-piece cosmic funk band formed by conservatory trained musicians Thoma Henbest [lead vocals, piano], Reg Parker [Saxophone], Kyron Weetra [Bass], Barnabas Bosisto [Guitar] and Zed Crawford [drums].
Writing and composing fun and playful songs since 2019, the band has since then been touring across Adelaide and South Australia.
Their ‘smooth and soulful synth groove’ [inDaily] is known to bring an incredibly positive energy to the stage. Known for their colourful and theatrical performances, Thoma and the Humbugs offers a uniquely entertaining live act.
Their next album ‘Bah Humbug’ (an Australiana Christmas concept album) is due to be released on all streaming services at the end of this year. Dust off your dancing shoes, here they come!!
